Costco Offers Small Business Health Insurance Policies

If you are a small business owner, Costco may now be able to lighten the burden of employee health insurance. Small businesses in California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon and Washington can now supply their employees with health care through Costco at an affordable rate.
Each state differs in price and coverage. Just to give you an idea of coverage, we will summarize the California plan.
The healthcare is through PacifiCare with dental being provided through Aetna.
PacifiCare’s parent company United HealthCare, offers over 560,000 physicians in their network nationwide and insures over 26 million people. They also offer over 4,800 hospitals in their network to meet all the needs of their patients.
Aetna serves over 36 million people with both health and dental care nationwide.
On top of Costco offering businesses healthcare, they also offer a life insurance plan for small businesses as well. When purchased as a package, employers can offer their employees the same benefits package they might find being offered at a large corporation.
Costco’s health plan, both for small businesses and individual, is a great value. Not only do they give individuals the option to health coverage, but small businesses now have a health care plan to offer their employees and families.
